About alerts
What can I get alerts for?
A place (anywhere from 1 to 500 km around a point), a shape such as orbs or triangles, or a word that appears in a report. You can keep up to ten alerts and pause any of them.
How do alerts reach me?
Every alert lands in your Sighted inbox. Choose browser push, email, or both, for each alert separately.
Will I be woken up at 3am?
Only if you want to be. Set quiet hours in your own time zone and push stays silent through them, or mute everything for a while.
Do alerts include private reports?
No. Reports the witness kept private, and anything hidden or removed by moderators, never trigger an alert.
Is there a weekly summary?
Yes. Opt in to the weekly digest and you get the week’s most notable reports by email every Sunday.
